I still have this issue, wordpress is resetting theme to default. Tried renaming the theme-folder, which I am using, to ‘default’, but that only screwed up the theme (seem to have lost css.)
What to do?

Yeah that’s what I ended up doing. I guess the next update for Wordpress might fix this issue.

yep, got the same issue with wordpress 2.2 and a modified version of k2… no clue when it resets, no clue why it does.

my best idea is replacing the default theme which the currently used one (and name it default too of course). afaik there’s no need of keeping the “orignal” default theme.

i got about 7 wordpress installs on different servers, but only that one has that strange theme reset issue.
